Jon Stettner, MBA, CFRE, Senior Consultant, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and revenue generation, Jon has held the office of chief executive officer for various charitable organizations in Canada and the United States for the past 25 years. He has spent the last 12 years at Make-A-Wish International. Under his leadership as President and CEO, Make-A-Wish International quadrupled its revenue, tripled wishes granted and more than doubled the number of countries in which wishes are granted to 52. Prior to joining Make-A-Wish, Jon was the Chief Executive Officer with Variety — The Children’s Charity in British Columbia, and Managing Director for Variety in Canada. Jon was also the chief executive for a number of arts organizations in Vancouver and the Seven Oaks General Hospital Foundation in Winnipeg, Canada. He has served on the national board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the international board of Lifeline.Jon earned a BA from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia in Canada. He also holds a CFRE designation and is certified by Board Source in non-profit board governance.
