Suzanne Wright, Senior Creative Copywriter & Content Strategist, has more than 15 years of writing experience. Drawing from a deep and varied background in marketing, public relations, publishing and sales, Suzanne has worked with nonprofits, small businesses, corporations and agencies to shape successful messaging.
A results-oriented creative professional, she is adept at developing short and long-format marketing materials for print or digital media across B2B and B2C audiences. Suzanne has worked with such well-known nonprofits as American Cancer Society, Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, CARE, Social Venture Partners Arizona, Special Olympics International and Witte Museum. Deliverables have included brochures, case statements for capital campaigns, fundraising letters, newsletters, email campaigns and website content.
She is also a nationally published magazine writer with more than 450 bylines in such outlets as AAA Highroads Arizona, American Way, Arizona Republic, Men’s Journal, National Geographic Traveler, USA Today and Wine & Spirits. Suzanne contributed nine southwest entries to the newly published Abroad At Home: The 600 Best International Travel Experiences in North America from National Geographic books.
Prior to becoming a fulltime freelance writer in 2001, Suzanne worked in leadership positions with employers such as the Arizona Office of Tourism, McGraw-Hill and BP Amoco. Suzanne has led a panel for the American Society of Journalists & Authors and has served as a consultant for private clients looking to rebrand their products. She received her BA from the University of West Florida in Communications and Marketing.
